Michael Mullis, Partner at Farnsworth Holdings

Michael Mullis

Michael Mullis has been with Farnsworth Holdings since 1996 and became a Partner in 1998. He plays a key role in identifying and evaluating new real estate investment opportunities across the United States.

In addition to his work at Farnsworth, Michael is a Partner at J.M. Mullis, Inc., an internationally recognized site selection consulting firm. His expertise centers on comprehensive real estate analysis, including site selection, property disposition, and sale/leaseback strategies. Over the course of his career, he has worked on client projects with a cumulative value exceeding $20 billion, serving companies such as AutoZone, Dollar Tree, Tractor Supply, Ross Stores, Orano, Blue Origin, Orgill, UNFI, and numerous manufacturing and food processing organizations.

Michael earned his BBA in Sales and Marketing from the University of Memphis. He is active in several professional real estate organizations, including SIOR (Developer Associate designation), Lambda Alpha International (Past President of the Memphis Chapter), and IAMC (Associate Member). Michael is married and has two children.

Thomas C. Farnsworth, III

Tommy Farnsworth III has spent his entire career at Farnsworth Holdings after graduating in 1989 from SMU with a BA in Economics. Named President in 1996, he has been an integral part of all elements of the firm along with its outside vendors and partners. In addition to the company’s partnerships, he has been an active leader in Memphis-based philanthropies spanning almost 40 years with ArtsMemphis, The Memphis Zoo, and The Assisi Foundation of Memphis. He has also served as a long-term independent director at Pinnacle Financial Partners, a dynamic regional commercial bank based in Atlanta. Tommy is married to Lindsay Byers Farnsworth, and they together have three married children and multiple grandchildren.

Thomas C. Farnsworth, Jr.

Mr. Farnsworth has been a real estate developer and investment builder for over 40 years. He served on the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority for 18 years and served as a director of the National Commerce Bancorporation, National Commerce Financial Corporation, and SunTrust Banks, Inc. He has been recognized by numerous civic and real estate organizations for his leadership in the industry and the community.

THOMAS C. FARNSWORTH, IV

Thomas Farnsworth IV works in Atlanta, where he manages large-scale programs and strategic initiatives within complex corporate environments. In his role, he has led cross-functional teams responsible for delivering technology and operational initiatives across major enterprise platforms.

Originally from Memphis, Thomas maintains strong ties to the city and to his family’s long-standing business and philanthropic roots there. He graduated in 2016 from the University of Georgia with a BBA in Management Information Systems and has a strong interest in real estate investment and long-term business development.

Thomas is married and lives in Atlanta with his wife, Megan, and their two children.
